If you can't beat 'em, pin 'em!

I figured if people were going to be pinning my pictures on Pinterest, I might as well create my own boards. So far I've only uploaded my favorite color posts but there will definitely be more to come.

Mellow Yellow

Even though Pantone has declared Tangerine Tango the color for 2012, I still think yellow is going to be just as big. From shades resembling an egg yolk to pale lemon, it's bright and cheerful yet chic. Yellow and black usually reminds me of a bubble bee or Steelers uniform, but it's starting to grow on me. I also love it with pale grey and you can't go wrong mixing it with blue. It seems a great harbinger of spring and forsythia. Take that orange.

Minty Fresh

I've had the minty color of the coat above that Tommy Ton photographed during fashion in my head for weeks. I used to associate it more with spring but I'm loving it all year long now. J.Crew has many pieces in this chic color in their new catalog so now we can easily add it to our own wardrobes. It would also look just as great in your home as in your closet. Just can't decide if it's the best color for a car. What do you think?
