Snow Day

It's snowing today in New York which should make for an interesting day at fashion week. While I don't attend all the shows, I am lucky enough to be invited to many for Fall 2012.  Some of them include BCBG Max Azria, Cynthia Rowley, Herve Leger, Alexander WangChristian Siriano, Derek Lam, Tracy Reese, Skaist-Taylor, Zac Posen, Rachel Roy, Chris Benz, Tory Burch, J.Crew, Naeem Khan, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Nanette Lepore, J. Mendel, Milly, and even a few for the boys including Michael Bastian and Gant by Michael Bastian.  If you want to follow my adventures in real time, you can catch all the action on twitter.  I will also be posting some of my photos on tumblr instead of the blog.

Now I'm off to find something chic to wear to Lincoln Center that is also snow appropriate.

Tricky.  Very tricky.

Light My Fire

It snowed all day in New York Saturday and I wished the entire time that my apartment had a working fireplace.  Would have been very cozy and romantic to spend the day reading in front of a roaring fire.  Since I don't have one, these photos will have to suffice.  Hope you stayed dry and warm where ever you were today!

Another Snow Day

It's still snowing in New York and since I doubt I will look as chic as Ms. Wintour if I go out today, I think I will stay in and continue watching The September Issue. This wicked weather has also strengthened my resolve to plan a vacation to a warmer and sunnier city! And I might just stay there until Spring!

Another Snow Day

The big news this weekend is the "snow apocalypse" that is scheduled to hit the East Coast. I've only seen a few flurries so far but I've already decided to stay inside and catch up on work just in case. If you do decide to go outside, I suggest you act like a kid again and make some pretty snow angels! Doesn't that look like fun?!

Snow Day!

The flakes have just begun to fall in New York but I've already assembled all my snow day supplies! Magazines, check. Books, check. Movies, check. Tea, check. Cookies, check. Candle, check. I am so looking forward to spending this day curled up on the sofa under my cashmere blanket watching movies and catching up on my reading. My only quandary is what movie to start with first! Any suggestions? What's your favorite snow day movie?
