Chic in Cap D'Antibes

Second on my bucket list, after attending a Chanel fashion show, would be staying at the famous Hotel du Cap Eden Roc in Antibes.  The hotel has been a playground for the wealthy and world traveled including celebrities and royals since it was opened in 1870 by the former owner of Le Figaro newspaper. The hotel just reopened a month ago after going a four year renovation project to restore and modernize it while retaining its charm and heritage.  Photographer Slim Aarons immortalized the hotel and many of its guests over the years and it really does remain as chic now as it did then. No wonder Karl Lagerfeld chose it as the venue for his resort 2012 show. Not sure when we'll be able to cross these two things off our list but it sure is fun to dream!
